Brian Katrek is one of golf’s original content creators. Since 1998, Brian has hosted many of the original online audio and video projects for the PGA TOUR, projects that continue today as PGA TOUR Live and PGA TOUR Radio. He has hosted play-by-play coverage of all 4 major championships, the PLAYERS Championship, the Ryder Cup, the Presidents Cup, and the Solheim Cup, along with the U.S. Amateur and NCAA championships. Brian is currently the play-by-play host of major championships and TGL on SiriusXM, hosts PGA TOUR Live on ESPN+, and co-hosts Katrek and Maginnes On Tap weekdays on SiriusXM’s PGA TOUR Radio with John Maginnes. In 2025, Brian started his 27th consecutive year of hosting a local golf radio show in his hometown of Atlanta, where he lives with his wife and two children. He is an avid player who qualified for the 2015 U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship.
